T.O.P surfaces in Thailand with a message for fans
T.O.P posted multiple selfies to his personal SNS on October 26, captioning them "LOVE YOU TOPSX THAILAND." The Thailand trip came with no explanation.
The timing coincides with T.O.P going public about his relationship with singer and actress Nana. They met on the set of the music video for 완전미쳤어! (Studio54), the title track from his first solo full-length album TOP SPOT - 다중관점 (ANOTHER DIMENSION), released in January. The connection deepened after the shoot wrapped. By June, they were dating.
From marijuana conviction to Squid Game and back
T.O.P's re-entry into public life has been swift. In 2016 he was indicted on marijuana smoking charges and received a sentence of 10 months imprisonment with a two-year suspended sentence. He announced on personal SNS that he intended to retire from the entertainment industry and later withdrew from BIGBANG.
That retirement ended in December 2024 when he appeared in Netflix original series Squid Game Season 2. Whether the Thailand trip is work or leisure remains unclear.
Nana's role in the 완전미쳤어! (Studio54) MV marks the beginning of their relationship.
