TXT set November 16 release for 9th mini album 'PERFECT STORM'
Tomorrow X Together drops the promotion schedule for 'PERFECT STORM', with the album and title track MV arriving November 16 at 6 PM.
Nine albums in, TXT are chasing a storm
Tomorrow X Together will release their 9th mini album, PERFECT STORM, on November 16 at 6 PM. The five-member Big Hit Music group—Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai—posted the full promotion schedule to official SNS on October 21 at 9 PM. The rollout is already in motion.
A 'STORM IS COMING' concept trailer dropped first. A photo version tied to that trailer went live on October 22 at midnight. The album and title track music video arrive simultaneously on release day.
Big Hit said PERFECT STORM "contains the hearts of youth of this era yearning for change to blow away stagnant reality." The five members plan to "directly depict growth pains of youth experiencing similar concerns and deliver realistic comfort."
The road to November 16
The schedule between now and release day is packed:
- Oct. 26–30 — Three concept photo versions: RIDE THE STORM, EYE OF THE STORM, HOLDING THE STORM (one source dates these to October, another to November 26–30; the October window aligns with the October 21 schedule announcement)
- Oct. 24 — Tracklist reveal (one source lists this as November 24; dates conflict across outlets)
- Nov. 5 — Album preview
- Nov. 13 — Title track MV teaser
- Nov. 16, 6 PM — Full audio and title track MV
Big Hit moves on malicious posts ahead of comeback
Big Hit Music announced legal action against a surge of malicious content targeting TXT members in the lead-up to the comeback. The label has been collecting evidence from domestic and international platforms and will proceed "without any leniency or settlement." Big Hit called the posting and spreading of such content "a criminal act that seriously damages artist personality and reputation."
The legal warning landed the same week as the promo schedule drop—not a coincidence the label left unaddressed.
