Cha Jung-won attends Kill It winner Kim Na-ra's same-sex outdoor wedding ahead of her own December ceremony
Actor Cha Jung-won, marrying Ha Jung-woo on Dec. 13, attended Kill It champion Kim Na-ra's outdoor wedding with her same-sex partner of 8 years.

Two weddings, one golden rice field
Actor Cha Jung-won showed up for Kim Na-ra's wedding on November 1, posting "Na-ra's wedding, happiness" on SNS with several photos. Weeks later, she'll have her own ceremony—a private hotel affair with actor Ha Jung-woo on December 13 in Seoul.
The two connected through tvN's Kill It: Style Creator War, where Cha Jung-won mentored and Kim Na-ra won the final championship. That bond from the show floor held.
Kim Na-ra's ceremony broke the mold entirely. She and her same-sex partner, together for 8 years, married outdoors in a golden rice field of ripening grain. No wedding hall. She carried a rice-ear bouquet instead of flowers. Rice straw, autumn blooms, and harvest pieces dressed the space.
"We don't need anyone's permission"
Kim Na-ra spoke directly about the decision to celebrate publicly.
"We don't need anyone's permission to celebrate our love," she said, adding that there is "no predetermined path" and that the couple is "best just as we are now."
She turned to the wider community: "If our small love story can give courage to even one other same-sex couple to believe in the future, that alone would be very meaningful."
Cha Jung-won and Ha Jung-woo confirmed their relationship in February. They first met in 2020 as industry seniors and juniors and have been together for approximately 6 years.
