DJ DOC's Lee Ha-neul goes public with girlfriend 6 years after divorce, promotes her YouTube channel
DJ DOC's Lee Ha-neul introduced his girlfriend as the 'trendy unni' in a November 3 video, asking fans to follow her channel—and clarifying it's 'not voice phishing.'

Six years after the split, a new face
DJ DOC member Lee Ha-neul went public with his girlfriend on November 3, posting a video titled 대세언니 팔로우 좀 부탁드려요! ("Please follow the trendy unni!") on his YouTube channel 이하늘의 별의별 말. It's the first time he's shown her publicly since revealing in June 2023 that he was dating.
He called her "the yellow-colored trendy unni" and asked viewers to follow her channel, which films her from behind. "This channel showing her back is the trendy one," he said. "Please follow."
Then came the disclaimer. Lee promised gift events once her channel officially launches, then added: "It's not voice phishing. You can trust me and come in. There's no loss."
His pitch doubled as a personal one. "My girlfriend wants to do YouTube, sales, and seller-type work," he explained. "If that goes well, I can focus on music and fishing."
The relationship timeline
Lee Ha-neul (real name Lee Geun-bae, born May 3, 1971) debuted in 1994 with DJ DOC's first album 슈퍼맨의 비애 alongside Kim Chang-yeol and Jung Jae-yong. The group released 머피의 법칙, 여름 이야기, 겨울 이야기, 도씨와 춤을, Run To You, and 나 이런 사람이야. He later appeared on SBS 불타는 청춘 discussing his personal life.
His previous marriage to a non-celebrity woman 17 years younger began on October 17, 2018 in Jeju Island after roughly 11 years of dating. Super Jam Records announced the divorce in February 2020, roughly one year and four months after the wedding. The statement said the two "decided to end their marriage after careful consideration" and "go their separate ways" through amicable agreement.
(Asking fans to follow your girlfriend's channel while preemptively denying it's a scam is a very specific kind of 2020s celebrity move.)
