Jang Min-ho drops pre-release 'Insenginan Chinguege' ahead of Nov. 24 mini-album
Tang Min-ho's new jazz-trot track arrived Nov. 4, with the fourth mini-album 'Essay ep.4' coming Nov. 24.
First new music in a year
Jang Min-ho released 인생이란 친구에게 (To a Friend Called Life) on November 4. His first original material in a year—the last was a remake tribute album, Analog Vol.1.
The track blends adult contemporary trot with jazz. Park Seon-ju wrote and composed it. It previews 에세이 ep.4 (Essay ep.4), his fourth mini-album, arriving November 24. Pre-orders are live.
The live debut is three days away
Jang Min-ho performs 인생이란 친구에게 live for the first time at the 2026 KGMA ceremony on November 7. Most fans won't have had a week with the track yet. (A tight turnaround, but the awards-night stage is a smart place to put it.)
Where this sits in his career
Jang Min-ho debuted in 1997 on Ubis' first album You Will Be With Us. He was part of the male duo Baram in 2004. His breakthrough came in 2020 when he finished 6th on TV Chosun's trot audition program Mr. Trot. Essay ep.4 is his fourth mini-album under Ho Entertainment.
