LISSENUNG's 'With' hits Melon #1 in 2 hours; all 5 album tracks sweep HOT100 top 5
LISSENUNG's fourth mini-album PULSE dropped Nov. 3. Title track 'With' hit #1 on Melon TOP100 in two hours. All five new songs claimed spots 1–5 on HOT100.
'With' to #1 in 120 minutes
LISSENUNG released their fourth mini-album PULSE on November 3 at 6 PM. Two hours later, "With" was No. 1 on the Melon TOP100. The other four tracks—"Finest Thing," "백화요란," "MEME," and "Dragon"—all cracked the Melon TOP100's top 10 that same night.
On HOT100, the five new songs held positions 1 through 5. The five-member group (Woni, Liv, Minami, Mae, Jena) also had existing track "LOVE ATTACK" charting again in the surge.
The Seoul-to-Geoje promise
The album launch revived an old bet. Entertainer Shion had promised on a previous live broadcast to run from Seoul to Geoje if any LISSENUNG song entered the music chart top 100. The connection formed through the YouTube channel "션과 함께" (With Shion), made public in July. When the song hit No. 5, Mae said the company "went into emergency mode"—she couldn't exactly root against her own chart performance.
Shion and Mae ran 6.25 km together. On November 4, Shion posted: "New album PULSE from LISSENUNG. Mae, I'll cheer you on! Always sing happily with that first heart."
He praised Mae for honoring the commitment but added a warning: "Because you are someone who lives receiving public love, you should try your best to keep what you've said, and you should be careful when making promises."
