Licari x Sanrio pop-up in Seongsu: pet fashion meets Hello Kitty
If you're a Sanrio collector and you're heading to Seoul, this one's worth building your itinerary around. Licari — a pet fashion brand — has dropped a full collaboration with Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and Pochacco across apparel, accessories, and gear. The pop-up runs through April 26 in Seongsu, one of Seoul's most walkable neighborhoods for back-to-back stops.
Where & How to Get In
The pop-up is at 서울특별시 성동구 연무장5가길 22 (성수동2가) 1층, closest to Seongsu Station. Plan for a wait — it's operating on a kiosk-based queuing system where you register at the entrance and receive a KakaoTalk notification when it's your turn. The system auto-cancels if you don't show up within 10 minutes of the call, so time your visit carefully. Arriving just after opening (11AM) will mean a shorter wait than mid-afternoon.

What You Actually Get
The space is small but packed: photo zones with character theming, display shelves with the full collab range, and a shopping floor where you can try items on. The collection spans pet apparel (sleeveless shirts, harnesses, leashes), everyday goods (water bottles, pouches, keychains, sling bags, strollers), and accessories. Quality is solid — the pieces feel like keepsakes, not throwaway merch.

Photo zones are genuinely well-styled and worth the time; bring a friend or use the timer. The blogger who visited on day one noted that the Sanrio aesthetic makes photos pop in a way that justifies the trip alone.

Events & Free Goods
Multiple overlapping events run throughout the pop-up window:
- Mission events: Follow on Instagram to claim a Pochacco fan; sign up for the official mall + add them as a KakaoTalk friend to get a Hello Kitty hand mirror.
- Purchase events: Any purchase gets you a reusable bag. Spend 150,000 won or more and you'll also receive a walking bag.
- Lucky draw: Spend 50,000 won or more to enter a draw for sling bags, collab kits, and other prizes.
- Photo zone event: Post your photos on SNS and enter a raffle for store credit.

The free goods are thoughtfully designed — not cheap add-ons — so it's worth hitting the mission thresholds if you're already planning to shop.
Practical Notes
Parking is available at nearby Factorial Seongsu (ground floor stays uncrowded past noon). If you're bringing a pet, note that strollers are tight inside the space — a backpack or carrier works better. The neighborhood around Seongsu Station has other cafés and shops, so you can easily stack this with a half-day itinerary.

Who This Is For
This is not a general pop-up — it's specifically for Sanrio fans and pet owners who care about how their animals look. If you're neither, it won't resonate. But if you've been hunting for Sanrio merch with real utility (not just stickers), and you're in Seoul before April 26, this is a rare moment to see the full range in person and walk away with limited pieces.
