One Piece Mugiwara Store in Jamsil: what to expect, how to book

Sofia Reyes·8/3/2026, 4:00:47 PM

One Piece fans planning a Seoul trip: the Mugiwara Store (the official merch hub for the anime) just opened as a pop-up in Korea, and it's worth the detour if you're collecting. This is the real deal — the same store concept Japan has had for years, now in Jamsil near Lotte World Adventure. If you're already hitting anime shops in that district (and there are plenty), clustering this visit makes sense.

Location & Getting There

The store is in Jamsil, Seoul — specifically in the Lotte World Adventure zone. The exact address is 240 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, B1F (Shopping Mall Building), Unit 24. You don't need to buy a Lotte World ticket to enter; the store sits in Rotirolli Square, the outdoor plaza in front of the main gates. Look for the Lotte World Adventure signage and the Gong Cha café — the store is right there. Fair warning: Rotirolli Square is sprawling and easy to get lost in, so take a moment to orient yourself once you arrive.

Booking & Entry

During the initial surge (through August 17), Naver Reservations is the way in — 30-minute time slots, and you can book one slot per account. If you miss the reservation window or it's sold out, walk-ins are allowed, but expect a queue and possible entry denial during peak hours. The trade-off: if you do get in, shopping itself is spacious and uncrowded. Important: arrive no more than 20 minutes after your reserved time, or you forfeit entry. Have your confirmed reservation screen ready to show staff.

What's Inside

The space isn't enormous, but the merch range is solid. Random can badges (multiple designs), keychains, and clear cards fill the first sections — the clear cards have a summer vibe and move fast. There are cute otedama (finger sumo toys) with good detail, though the plush keychains are hit-or-miss on quality. A3-sized wanted posters are popular and reasonably priced. T-shirts come in L and XL sizes, ranging from wearable designs to loud character prints; the character tees don't seem to sell as quickly. Luffy's straw hat replica is there, but the price is steep. The back wall is dominated by action figures and mini figures — dozens of sizes, from small to large-scale, with real display pieces you can examine. Clear files, pens, pouches, and practical stationery are abundant and reasonably priced (the blogger noted prices feel fair compared to recent Ghibli pop-ups). Recent manga volumes and magazines with poster inserts are in stock, though not all back issues. One Piece trading cards are sold in pack units (1 person, 3 packs max); the blogger recommends handling them carefully, as other shoppers can be rough with the packaging.

Many items have purchase limits (1 per person on popular items, 3 on trading card packs) because of the initial crowd surge.

Practical Notes

Parking is available through Lotte World Adventure's lot, with a discount on your purchase amount — but the blogger paid 11,000 won for 2 hours of parking after the discount, so factor that in if you're driving. The store is open daily 10AM–10PM. There's a Gong Cha café in Rotirolli Square, so grab a drink while you wait or browse nearby anime shops (Animate and gashapon shops are clustered in the area).

Running Window

The store operates through the end of this year, but booking closes August 17 — after that, walk-ins only. If you're in Seoul and a One Piece collector, go sooner rather than later; the early-run crowds should thin out by late August.

Bottom line: the merch variety justifies a visit if you're already in the Jamsil anime district. Booking is smooth if you grab a slot early. Just don't sleep on parking costs.
