BTS 'Dynamite' MV hits 2.1 billion YouTube views, the group's highest ever

Dynamite crossed 2.1 billion views on June 24 at around 8 AM on the HIVE Labels YouTube channel. It's the group's most-watched video ever.

The song hit 2 billion views back in September 2025. Nine months later came the next 100 million. The choreography version had already crossed 300 million roughly two months before that.

Released in August 2020, Dynamite was BTS's first all-English single. The disco pop track became the first song by a Korean act to reach number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It held that spot for three non-consecutive weeks and stayed on the chart for 32 weeks total—the longest Hot 100 run by a K-pop artist. The song won Best Song at the 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards and Top Selling Song at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.

Nothing else in the BTS catalog comes close. Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey) has 1.9 billion views. DNA sits at 1.6 billion. MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) reached 1.5 billion. FAKE LOVE and IDOL each have 1.3 billion. Butter crossed 1 billion.

The rest of the catalog keeps moving too. I NEED U Official MV (Original ver.)—the 19+ rated cut from the 2015 mini album Hwayang Yeonhwa pt.1, running about two minutes longer than the standard version—crossed 200 million views at 2:56 AM on June 23. The standard I NEED U MV sits at 250 million. I NEED U was the song that gave BTS their first number 1 on a terrestrial music broadcast after their 2013 debut.
