ILLIT announces second Japanese single 'I Got Your Back' for July, drops news at sold-out Aichi concert

ILLIT announced their second Japanese single, I Got Your Back, during the first stop of their Japan tour on June 13–14 at Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater. Every seat sold out, restricted-view included.

On stage, the members spoke directly to the crowd: "Let's create the best summer together with ILLIT." The single's full audio releases July 26. Physical copies arrive July 29.

The three-track release includes Sunday Morning, the opening theme for Season 2 of the TV anime Princess's Consultation Time, which premiered in January. A collaboration version with Japanese fashion magazine FRUiTS is also in the works.

The Aichi shows ran 23 songs. Magnetic opened the setlist. They also performed Japanese-market releases Almond Chocolate, Bubee, Toki Yo Tomare, and Sunday Morning. After the shows, the group said: "Thanks to GLLIT, we were able to press the start button well for our first Japan tour."

The tour continues at Osaka Orix Theater on July 20–21.

Back in Korea, the group's 4th mini album title track It's Me took first place on SBS Inkigayo on June 14, securing a triple crown on music broadcasts. The track has held a spot on Oricon, Billboard Japan, and LINE Music for over a month. (GLLIT is the official fandom name.)
