Rothy returns June 16 with 'Don't Be', her first self-written single and the start of 4-part 'FLAT' project

Rothy releases digital single Don't Be on June 16, roughly two years after Happy End in June 2024.

Four singles will drop in sequence. Once all four land, she'll bundle them into an EP called FLAT—a project about finding balance by shedding others' expectations.

Here's what's new: Don't Be is Rothy's first officially released track where she wrote and composed since her debut. She's also moved to EGO GROUP.

(Two years without a release, a label switch, and a debut songwriting credit all at once is a lot.)

Rothy wants the music to work as "a time to pause and rest in an era where everything is consumed quickly." Each song should feel "like a single scene" that gradually builds into one larger narrative.
