Rothy returns October 8 with new EP 'FLAT' and title track 'Alphabet'
Rothy's five-track EP 'FLAT' arrives October 8 at 6 PM, led by disco-pop single 'Alphabet'—written and composed entirely by Rothy herself.

Rothy's 'FLAT' lands October 8
Rothy is coming back. Her new EP FLAT drops October 8 at 6 PM across online music platforms. All five tracks are written and composed by Rothy.
The project pairs four previously released singles—Don't Be, First Train, Sweetest, and Back to Me—with the new title track Alphabet. It's a disco-pop song: bouncy bass, soft melody, Rothy's characteristically deep vocals riding the rush of catching someone's attention. The lyrics follow the arc of writing out your feelings letter by letter, that particular electricity of falling for someone mixed with the uncertainty of waiting for them to feel the same way back.
What 'FLAT' is actually about
The EP title means something. FLAT centers on one idea: keeping your own pace. Rothy has described the record as a statement about moving forward in her own way and on her own timeline, with every song pulled directly from her own life.
She's been rolling out concept photos across her official social media accounts ahead of the release. Five tracks. All self-written. One throughline: this is her story at her speed.
(Four of the five songs were already out in the world before now, so the real question is how Alphabet ties the whole thing together.)
Cheer the story
