Girls' Generation's Seohyun visited a Gyeonggi-region animal shelter on June 26, donating 5,000 units of puppy food and treats while walking dogs with volunteers.

Girls' Generation lead vocalist and maknae Seohyun (서주현, 34) spent June 26 at an animal shelter in the Gyeonggi region. She walked dogs, helped tidy the space, and donated 5,000 units of puppy food and treats from the brand Puppies.
Photos from the visit showed her with a group of volunteers outside the shelter. She left a message for fans: "It was a grateful time spent with precious people. I hope all abandoned dogs and cats meet warm families and become happy." She added that she hopes to return next year.
Seohyun debuted with Girls' Generation in 2007 on the single Reunited World (다시 만난 세계). Her solo career took off in 2017 with her first mini album Don't Say No, whose title track reached No. 1 on music broadcasts. She also contributed lyrics to several tracks on that release.
Her acting résumé is thick with awards. A KBS Acting Awards Best Couple Award and Mini Series Female Excellence Award for the drama I Stole the First Night with the Male Lead (남주의 첫날밤을 가져버렸다). An SBS Acting Awards Female Special Acting Award. An MBC Acting Awards Female Rookie Award. A KBS Acting Awards Female Rookie Award and Best Couple Award. The Seoul Awards Drama Female Popularity Award. The variety circuit added an MBC Entertainment Awards Variety Category Popularity Award for We Got Married. (That's a lot of trophies for someone still billed as the maknae.)
Next: Seohyun is set to meet theater audiences through the film Looking for the King (왕을 찾아서), though no release date has been announced.
