Three celebrities denied dating rumors spawned by social media follows and similar photos. None of the claims held up.

Actor Heo Nam-jun, currently appearing on SBS's 멋진 신세계, got tangled in an SNS rumor linking him to actress Hong I-seol. The evidence: they followed each other.
Hong I-seol responded fast. "The actor mentioned is just a good colleague with whom I took classes together during university, and the dating rumor is completely untrue." She also shut down separate casting-related allegations.
Chef Son Jong-won faced the same thing. Netflix's 흑백요리사2 and JTBC's 냉장고를 부탁해 viewers decided he was dating model Yeo Yeon-hee after spotting mutual follows and photos of dogs that looked like the same breed. Yeo Yeon-hee went to YouTube to explain: the man is "an older brother I know," and the dog photo "happened to look very similar to our pet. It is not the same dog." She mentioned having an actual partner and said the malicious comments hurt her.
Byun Woo-seok went through it too. Similar-location photos he and model Jeon Ji-su posted triggered "loveagram" speculation. His team clarified: Jeon Ji-su is a close friend from university, and the photos came from a group gathering. Jeon Ji-su confirmed she was in a real relationship, and the rumors died.
(A mutual follow and a matching dog breed — the bar for a dating rumor has apparently never been lower.)
