ASC2NT drops second digital single 'Pyeonuijeom Ap Sinhodeung,' third entry in their Sagye project
ASC2NT's second digital single arrived July 16, five months after their debut mini album. The release came with an animated MV featuring members as original characters.
ASC2NT dropped their second digital single Pyeonuijeom Ap Sinhodeung (편의점 앞 신호등) on July 16. Their first mini album STILL : I had come out in February.
This is the third installment in the group's Sagye (사계) project. The concept uses a traffic light's three colors to map emotional stages: green for the thrill of starting something, yellow for that careful moment when you're both figuring out what the other person feels, and red for wishing it would never end.
The group released an animated music video alongside the track. Members appear as original characters in the video. NewWays Company, their label, described it as part of a larger strategy: "We will build a worldview of reality and virtual through a hybrid strategy and create a new universe unique to ASC2NT." They're also planning to turn that animated universe into merchandise and goods so fans can own pieces of it.
A second-half comeback album is already being worked on. ASC2NT wrapped an Indonesia fan meeting on the 10th. They have a Taiwan fan meeting and a performance at a Canada Toronto festival coming up.
