BTS's 5th album '아리랑' holds 15 consecutive weeks on Spotify's Global Weekly Albums chart; La Plata City Council names BTS Honorary Guests ahead of October stadium show.

아리랑, BTS's fifth studio album, has spent 15 consecutive weeks in the upper tier of Spotify's Weekly Top Albums Global chart. For the week of June 26–July 2, it landed at No. 2—its third straight week at that position.
The title track SWIM sits at No. 6 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global for the same period. Four other album cuts charted for all 15 of those weeks: Body to Body, Hooligan, 2.0, and they don't know 'bout us. Last month's standalone single Come Over has also entered the rankings.
The run extends beyond streaming. 아리랑 has been inside the UK Official Albums Top 100 for 15 consecutive weeks, with ranking gains across the Official Scottish Albums, Official Album Sales, Official Physical Albums, and Official Album Streaming sub-charts. SWIM re-entered both the UK singles sales and download charts. In Germany, the album has held a top-10 position on the official Top 100 Albums chart for all 15 weeks. Australia's ARIA album and vinyl charts have also logged consistent entries.
The La Plata City Council in Argentina voted unanimously to name BTS Honorary Guests of the city. The decision cited the group's cultural influence, promotion of youth rights, and contribution to international cultural activities. It comes ahead of BTS's scheduled October concert at Estadio Único de La Plata in Buenos Aires—the first Korean artist to perform at that stadium. La Plata city is already preparing administrative support covering security, traffic, and accommodation.
