BTS 'NORMAL' returns to Hot 100 at #33 as ARIRANG hits 13 weeks in Billboard 200 top 10
A July 17 MV and Korean-language release pushed 'NORMAL' back onto the Hot 100; ARIRANG's 17-position jump to #9 is this week's biggest mover on the chart.
NORMAL is back on the Billboard Hot 100.
BTS's track re-entered at No. 33 on the August 1 dated chart. The July 17 release of its music video and Korean-language version drove the return. It first hit the Hot 100 at No. 41 on April 4, then dropped off after three weeks. This time around it topped the Digital Song Sales chart at No. 1.
On the Global 200, NORMAL climbed to No. 4—a new personal best—and hit No. 2 on Global (excluding US). Title track SWIM landed at No. 10 on Global 200 and No. 5 on Global (excluding US). Six ARIRANG tracks now hold spots on Global (excluding US) for 18 consecutive weeks: SWIM, NORMAL, Body to Body, 2.0, Hooligan, and FYA. New track Come Over entered that chart at No. 133. Dynamite reappeared at No. 140.
The fifth studio album ARIRANG jumped 17 positions to No. 9 on the Billboard 200—the largest single-week gain on this week's chart. It has now spent 13 cumulative weeks in the top 10, extending its own record as the longest top-10 run for a Korean artist's album on that chart. Album sales came in at roughly 40,000 units, up 62% week-over-week. ARIRANG also landed at No. 2 on Vinyl Albums (up 17 positions), No. 3 on Top Album Sales (up 9), and No. 28 on Top Streaming Albums (up 10).
Two live events powered these numbers. BTS performed Dynamite at the 2026 FIFA North/Central America World Cup final halftime show on July 19 (local time). Before that, the group played BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG IN PARIS at Stade de France on July 17–18. The Paris dates appear to have moved French numbers directly: ARIRANG hit No. 3 on the SNEP Top Albums chart dated July 24, up 13 positions from the prior week.
