Choi Jae-myung wins Trotpick birthday event with 200K points as new song teased

Choi Jae-myung turned 14 July. His fans made it count. The trot singer won Trotpick's July birthday celebrant event after a cumulative vote held June 19–25, pulling in 200,000 points to hit 400% of the target.

The reward came with congratulatory pop-up notifications inside the Trotpick app and online article support. A birthday congratulations video ran on the Myeongdong digital billboard in Seoul from July 9 through July 15.

Choi first broke through on TV Chosun's Mr. Trot 3, finishing in the TOP7. His reputation built on stage with Sangsahwa, Yakson, and Yeonriji—tracks that put his vocal control and emotional delivery in front of wide audiences. This year he expanded into musical theatre with a role in Girlfriend.

A new release is coming this year, though no specific date has been given.
