Choi Ye-jin drops 'Orakai' on July 28. The Busan-born singer's new retro trot dance single hits Korean streaming platforms at noon, with broadcast and live appearances lined up.

Choi Ye-jin (최예진) releases her digital single Orakai (오라카이) on July 28 at 12:00 PM KST across Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Flo.
It's a retro trot dance track rooted in her Busan identity—Busan dialect and all. Composer Jeong Dong-jin (정동진) wrote it; he's the one behind Cheonnyeonjigi, Sachigi Sachigi, and Namja Dae Namja. Retro music producer J MICK (제이믹) handled arrangement. Mista Kim (미스타킴), who produced global group Aengdu Girls (앵두걸스), served as overall producer and vocal director.
The agency called it a song where "Choi Ye-jin's bright energy and the charm of Busan dialect naturally blend," positioning it as "a cheerful trot dance song that anyone can sing along to and enjoy this summer."
Choi appeared on SBS Trot Shin-i Tteotda 2 - Last Chance, where judges like Jang Yoon-jeong (장윤정) and Joo Hyun-mi (주현미) praised her vocal ability. Getting a co-sign from those two in the trot world matters.
She'll promote the track through various broadcasts and live stages.
