Click-B's Ha Hyun-gon reveals he was cut from the group despite wanting to stay — and turned to cosmetic surgery for comfort

Click-B walked onto the July 10 premiere of KBS2's new variety program 해피투게더 - 혼자가 아니어서 좋아 as a full group. It was drummer Ha Hyun-gon's confession that made everyone stop.

The band debuted in 1999 with seven members. 백전무패 gave them their first music broadcast No. 1. Then came the split. Yoo Ho-seok, Noh Min-hyuk, and Ha Hyun-gon all left when their contracts ended, and Click-B became a four-piece.

Ha Hyun-gon wanted to stay. The issue was simple: he only played drums. No singing, no dancing. So they let him go. Member Oh Jong-hyuk remembered it clearly. "I still remember the last day. When he said 'I'm leaving, hyung Jonghyuk', he shed tears of blood."

What nobody knew then: Ha Hyun-gon had double eyelid surgery two days before he packed his things and left. (The timing says everything.) The four remaining members released 카우보이, which hit No. 1. Ha Hyun-gon watched from outside. "That's when I started getting my nose done," he said. His family was in Busan. No one around. Cosmetic surgery became his way out. "When things got hard... cosmetic surgery became my way of comforting myself."

He's done now. "I'm in the completion stage. I hope things won't be difficult anymore going forward. I hope I don't change anything else about myself."
