Trot Singer Duri Competes on SBS Love FM's 'Life Is an Audition' on Her Birthday, Urges Online Votes

Trot singer Duri (봉두리), 34, is competing on 인생은 오디션 (Life Is an Audition), SBS Love FM's weekly audition program. Judge scores, online votes, and text votes all factor into the final tally, announced every Friday at 4 PM.

Duri earned 194 points from the judges in the latest round. Eight contestants are competing. Only four advance. "Thanks to your support, I was able to receive such a good result of 194 points from the judges," she said. "But it's not over yet."

Online voting closes on the 8th at 3 PM. Fans need to install the Gorilla app, open the online voting section, and cast a vote for Duri. "Each person and each vote is really a great strength to Duri," she added.

Duri debuted in 2018 as main vocalist of girl group GBB with the digital single GIRLS BE THE BEST. She released 두리 X 태원 - 벚꽃이 오는날 in 2019. She placed 7th on the trot audition program 내일은 미스트롯, then appeared on 헬로트로트 in 2021 and 현역가왕 in 2023. (She also won gold in the women's 60m race at the 2018 Chuseok special 아육대.)

Her sister 봉우리 is a broadcast announcer and sports caster. Her brother-in-law 김수범 is a soccer player. Her niece is 김태린.
