GIRLSET dropped 'CHAT' on July 17 and performed it on Music Bank the same day—their first domestic broadcast stages under the GIRLSET name.

GIRLSET, JYP Entertainment's four-member global girl group of Lexi, Camila, Kendall, and Savanna, released the digital single CHAT on July 17. They performed it on KBS 2TV's Music Bank that same day, marking their first domestic music broadcast stages under the GIRLSET name. Show! Music Core (MBC) followed on July 18 and Inkigayo (SBS) on July 19.
CHAT is a hyperpop track built on intense rhythm and deep sound. The music video pairs hip-hop-based performance with flashy visuals. The Stereotypes—who produced Bruno Mars' That's What I Like and 24K Magic—handled production. August Rigo, whose writing credits include Justin Bieber's U Smile and BTS's ON, contributed to the songwriting.
The single follows a strong run for Tweak, released in March. That track logged roughly 640,000 Spotify streams on day one globally, with over 270,000 from the United States alone. That's more than double the first-day US numbers for the previous single Little Miss. Apple Music added another 180,000-plus plays on release day, approximately 130,000 from the US. The Tweak music video hit #1 on YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide, #5 on US YouTube Trending Music, and landed in the top 10 on US Daily Popular Music Videos.
After Seoul wraps on July 19, GIRLSET heads to New York (July 24–25), Chicago (July 26), Atlanta (July 28), Dallas (July 29), and Los Angeles (July 29–30) for CHAT promotions across the Americas. A new album is planned following this single cycle.
