Han Roro wins Circle Chart double crown, heads to Summer Sonic 2026

Han Roro swept the 2026 first-half Circle Chart results announced on July 11, with her self-composed track Saranghage Doel Geoya (사랑하게 될 거야) finishing No. 1 on both the digital chart and the streaming chart.

The digital win came with a Circle Index score of 315,527,555. The song is a 2023 B-side, written and composed entirely by Han Roro herself. It spent from week 48 of last year through the end of this year's first half inside the weekly digital chart's top 10—a slow-burn run the industry flagged as a textbook reverse-charting case.

The Circle Chart double crown wasn't her only win in 2026. She took the Rock/Ballad category at the 35th Seoul Music Awards. YouTube named her the Korean representative artist for its global artist development program, 2026 Foundry.

Now comes her first Japan stage. Han Roro is on the lineup for Summer Sonic 2026, running August 14–16 across Tokyo Zozo Marine Stadium, Makuhari Messe, and Osaka Expo Memorial Park. She performs August 14 at 10:30 AM on the Pacific Stage at Tokyo Makuhari Messe. (First Japan stage, first Summer Sonic—not a bad way to cross both off at once.) Summer Sonic draws world-class artists to Tokyo and Osaka each year.
