Hyolyn drops 'OriginaLyn' step film ahead of July 22 mini album release

Hyolyn's fourth mini album OriginaLyn lands July 22 at 6 PM across music streaming platforms. The step film already hit on July 15.

The album title fuses "Original" with her name "Lyn" — the concept being music and identity that only she can express. Seven tracks: title track ChecK, OFFLINE, SHOTTY, 맛있게드세요, What U Like, YOU AND I, and Standing On The Edge. Hyolyn wrote and composed the title track and multiple other songs. She handled production on every track.

ChecK centers on confidently facing one's own gaze and emotions. Trendy beats and an addictive hook sit alongside her powerful, unhurried vocals. ReH Entertainment called the album's direction "a 2026 version Y2K POP sensibility in her own style" with "free and honest energy."

The step film dropped on the label's official SNS with her open-heel walking front and center. Hyolyn explained the choice: "It was what made me suffer the most, but it was what I couldn't give up on."

Full comeback activities begin July 22.
