Hyorin's fourth mini album *OriginaLyn* arrives July 22 with a Y2K pop twist. Music show stages kick off July 23 on M Countdown.

Hyorin released her fourth mini album OriginaLyn on July 22, 2026. It's her first physical album in four years and her first mini album since iCE in July 2022.
The title fuses "Original" with her name "Lyn" — music and identity only she can provide. All seven tracks came from Hyorin herself: title track ChecK, OFFLINE, SHOTTY, 맛있게드세요, What U Like, YOU AND I, and Standing On The Edge. The album draws on Y2K pop, specifically the Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake era.
ChecK carries a message about showing your own charm rather than waiting for someone else's approval. "I found a lot of comfort meeting 'ChecK'," Hyorin said. "I thought, shouldn't I praise myself saying 'I'm doing well'?"
The album concept traces back to before SISTAR. "The color of SISTAR as a group was a unique domain completed by the company," she said. "I recalled the essence of the moment when Kim Hyojeong as a human being came to love and became immersed in music before SISTAR."
The four-year gap in physical releases came down to logistics. Running a one-person agency, ReH Entertainment, made a full album harder to manage. She released singles instead. Most recently Standing On The Edge dropped in December 2025, making this comeback roughly seven months later.
(She's 35, a SISTAR main vocal since 2010, solo since the group disbanded in 2017, and still gets asked about a reunion constantly. Her answer: "Nothing has been discussed yet.")
Hyorin hits music show stages starting with Mnet M Countdown on July 23.
