ILLIT's 2nd Japanese single 'I Got Your Back' hits Oricon #3, AWA #1 for four days straight
ILLIT's 2nd Japanese single debuted at No. 3 on the Oricon Daily chart and dominated AWA's real-time trending chart for four straight days.
I Got Your Back hit No. 3 on the Oricon Daily Single Ranking on July 28. The group matched their Japanese debut placement from Toki Yo Tomare last year.
The title track, I Got Your Back (Feat. JISOO, MOMOKA of HANA), spent four consecutive days at No. 1 on AWA's real-time trending chart. On Spotify Japan's Daily Top Songs chart, four ILLIT songs charted at once: the new single, It's Me, Magnetic, and ICONIC BY MISTAKE. The music video ranked across 29 countries and regions—South Korea and Japan included—and hit 6th on YouTube's Global Music Video chart.
(Four songs on one country's daily chart simultaneously is rare.)
The promotional push continues with TV appearances. ILLIT performs on NHK's Venue101 on August 1, then appears on Nippon Broadcasting's HANA's All Night Nippon X (Cross) on August 7.
