Only Seven (feat. Latto) had done it before.
The disco-funk track runs on brass, heavy percussion, and Jungkook's voice. It debuted at number 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 dated November 18, 2023. The song stayed on the chart for 19 weeks—his longest Hot 100 run as a solo artist. On the UK Official Singles Top 100 dated November 10–16, 2023, it entered at number 6 and charted for 11 weeks.
Awards followed. Top Global K-Pop Song at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards. Best Dance Performance Male Solo at the 2024 MAMA. Most Performed Songs of the Year at the 2025 BMI Pop Awards.
Jungkook performed the track at Times Square TSX Entertainment in New York in 2023, standing at a microphone. (That performance got major attention and likely helped sustain the chart run.)
The milestone arrives as BTS wraps the European leg of their world tour ARIRANG. Ten concerts across five cities: Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich, and Paris. Two nights at Stade de France on July 17 and 18 closed it out, drawing 717,000 fans combined across the run.
