KATSEYE took 3 AMAs in May — now a theatrical documentary and new EP are both coming in August
KATSEYE's first theatrical documentary 'WILD HEARTS' hits theaters August 12, just before their third EP 'WILD' drops two days later.
KATSEYE won three awards at the 2026 American Music Awards in May, including New Artist of the Year. They're riding that wave straight into a theatrical run.
The trailer for KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS landed on their YouTube and social channels July 15. Fifty-five seconds set to "PINKY UP." Sophia opens it with a question: "How did we get to this point so quickly?"
The documentary weaves together Coachella and Lollapalooza performances with unreleased behind-the-scenes footage, fan-submitted videos, and raw member interviews. EYEKONS—the fandom—gets real space in the film. KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS opens worldwide August 12.
Two days later comes the third EP, WILD.
KATSEYE debuted in 2024 under Bang Si-hyuk's "Multi-home, multi-genre" strategy and K-pop methodology. (Three AMAs and a global theatrical release in two years is a pace most groups don't hit in five.)
