KATSEYE's first theatrical documentary hits theaters August 12. The film drops two days before their third EP, WILD, with direction from Nadia Hallgren.

KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS opens in theaters worldwide on August 12. Country and venue specifics come later.
Two days before their third EP WILD arrives on August 14. Nadia Hallgren directed—she racked up four Emmy nominations for Michelle Obama's Netflix doc Becoming. Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures produced it, the same outfit behind Netflix's Popstar Academy, working with HYBE-Geffen Records.
The documentary follows KATSEYE from The Debut: Dream Academy auditions through their global ascent, zeroing in on their bond with EYEKONS, their fanbase. It weaves together unreleased behind-the-scenes footage, fan-submitted videos, and raw member interviews. The poster reads: "A Love Letter to the EYEKONS."
Timing matters here. KATSEYE swept three awards at the 2026 American Music Awards in May, including New Artist of the Year. Their second mini-album, out in June last year, landed at No. 4 on the US Billboard main album chart and clung there for 53 consecutive weeks. No female group's album had stayed on that chart for a full year since the Pussycat Dolls' PCD in 2005—a 21-year gap.
THE WILDWORLD Tour kicks off in September across North America and Europe. Every date sold out within 48 hours.
KATSEYE debuted in 2024 via The Debut: Dream Academy, a HYBE and Geffen Records joint venture. The lineup spans the United States, South Korea, the Philippines, and Switzerland. They've played Lollapalooza and Coachella, among major festivals.
