KATSEYE documentary drops Aug. 12 — their 2nd debut anniversary — with mini-album WILD following two days later

KATSEYE is dropping a theatrical documentary and a new mini-album 48 hours apart this August.

KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS opens globally on August 12—the exact date of the group's second debut anniversary. The film opens with member Sophia asking, "How did we get here so quickly?" A fair question, given the two years it covers.

Those two years include sets at Coachella and Lollapalooza. There's also the three-trophy night at the American Music Awards in May, where KATSEYE took home Breakthrough Artist of the Year among three wins at one of North America's top three music award shows.

Two days later, on August 14, KATSEYE releases WILD—their third mini-album. (Debut anniversary on Tuesday, new album on Thursday; the scheduling is doing a lot of work here.)

The back-to-back rollout positions the documentary less as a standalone project and more as the opening move for the WILD era.
