Kim Hyun-joong dropped 'Chickenia' in June. Now comes the fan cheer video—and seven more tracks rolling out every two weeks.

Kim Hyun-joong has released an official cheering method video for his June digital single 치킨이야 (Chickenia), engaging his fandom HENECIA ahead of a larger release run.
The 39-year-old asked fans directly: "Are you ready to build Hwaseong with one unified cheering method for '치킨이야'?" The track opens with serious narration before shifting into a funky rhythm built on electronic sound. It's designed to be easy to sing along to, with lyrics the artist describes as carrying a playful B-grade sensibility—the whole concept drawn from chicken and beer.
Chickenia is the first entry in a planned project of eight songs, each dropping two weeks apart. Seven more tracks to go, HENECIA.
Kim debuted in 2005 as leader of five-member group SS501. The lineup included Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Jung-min, and Kim Hyung-jun. Their debut single was 1st SS501. His solo run produced back-to-back chart-toppers on broadcast music programs in 2011: Break Down took multiple first-place finishes, and Lucky Guy also reached number one that same year. His most recent album before this project was 마이 선, released in 2023.
