Comedian Kim Na-hee announces August wedding on TV Chosun variety show

Kim Na-hee announced her upcoming marriage live on TV Chosun's 조선의 사랑꾼 5th anniversary special on July 13, 2026.

She debuted through KBS's open recruitment program in 2013. The relationship started after she appeared on the same show last year for a blind date segment with Kim Dong-young, son of comedian Kim Hak-rae. "After it aired, I got a lot of calls from friends saying, 'Were you single? I can introduce you to a nice person,'" she explained. One of those introductions led to the relationship.

The wedding is set for August in Seoul with family and close acquaintances. Her fiancé is a non-celebrity businessman who previously worked at McKinsey and is currently active in the IT industry. Kim Na-hee said he is handsome. Friends tell her he resembles actor Nam Joo-hyuk—though she's not convinced herself.

Co-star Kang Su-ji reacted on air: "Is it real? Congratulations so much."

The announcement came on a night Kim Na-hee was already having. She performed Lee Sun-hee's 인연 and scored 96 points, the highest of the day. Judge Kim Tae-won said her vocal ability ranks at the top among female comedians. She dedicated the song to her parents, noting her father recently had back surgery and she had not been able to visit him. (She said it on national television, so consider the apology delivered.)

Beyond comedy, Kim Na-hee has competed on 미스트롯 and works as a trot singer and theater actress.
