Lee Chan-won has now held No. 2 on the Idol Chart rating rankings for 232 consecutive weeks. The week of July 20–26 was no exception: he collected 68,453 votes to keep that spot, and in the platform's separate star "likes" tally he landed 6,763 likes — second again.
The streak lines up with a strong awards year. On June 20 at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon, Chan-won won four trophies at the 35th Seoul Music Awards: the Trot Award, the Main Award, the Popularity Award, and the newly established SMA Best Artist Award, which was introduced in 2024. Four trophies in a single night at one of Korea's flagship music ceremonies makes the consecutive-weeks stat feel less like a quirk and more like a pattern.
Off the stage, he currently hosts four shows — KBS2's Immortal Songs and Celebrity Soldier's Secret, JTBC's Talk Power 25 Hours, and MBC's Surprise Mystery Salon — keeping his visibility high between music releases.
