Lee Ga-eun, 31, is making her stage debut in the play *Myeonhoe* this August. The After School member announced the news via Instagram story highlights.

Lee Ga-eun is heading to the stage. The 31-year-old actress and singer will perform in the play Myeonhoe (면회) in August, with ticket reservations available through a link she posted to her story highlights.
She joined After School in 2012 with the group's fifth single album FLASHBACK. Since then, her acting résumé has grown steadily: Idol Master.KR: Dream to Dream (2017), the Naver TV web drama Today Also Peaceful Used Goods Country (2021) where she played Lee Ri-ah, tvN's High Class (2021) as Rachel Jo, JTBC's The Empire: Law of the Kingdom (2022) as Jang Ji-yi, a special appearance in ENA's Paper Moon (2023), and KBS 1TV's Udang-tang-tang Family (2024) as Yoon Ji-yeon. She also led the 2020 web movie Motel-ier as Yu Da-hee.
Variety shows have been part of her career too. She reached the finals of MBC's 2012 Chuseok special Eureatchacha! Cheonha Jangsa Idol representing After School. In 2013, she won the women's division of the Departure Dream Team Seollal special wrestling championship.
She's been a DJ since 2015. In February 2024, she joined YouTube channel Jaemiroweb as host of Katalk Room: Ga-eun's Group Chat. She also competed in Mnet's Produce 48 in 2018. (She completed middle school in Japan and is fluent in Japanese and Kansai dialect.)
Myeonhoe opens in August.
