Lee Su-bin beat 200-to-1 audition odds to land a role in the third season of 'Let Me Fly,' which opens October 6 at Doosan Art Center.

Lee Su-bin is heading back to the stage. Two months after her May 25 wedding in Seoul, the actress announced she has won the role of Jeong-bun in the upcoming third season of the musical Let Me Fly — beating a competition ratio of 200 to 1 at a public audition held in December of last year.
The musical follows Nam-won, a man who wakes up as a 70-year-old grandfather after a radio frequency incident on a night in 1969, and sets out on a future-exploration project to find his way back. Let Me Fly completed a 2025 New York Broadway roadshow and Hong Kong tour before returning for this new season, its first in approximately three years. Lee Su-bin will share the stage with Ahn Jae-wook, Lee Hee-joon, and Bae Hae-sun. The production opens October 6 at Doosan Art Center Yeongang Hall.
Lee Su-bin debuted at age four and has worked across musicals and dramas. She announced her marriage on May 23. "I found someone who became my greatest supporter and encouraged me to boldly and sometimes joyfully envision my future," she wrote. Fellow musical actors Min Kyung-ah and Park Kang-hyun performed congratulatory songs at the outdoor ceremony two days later. After the wedding, she described it as "a day so full of happiness that I wonder if there will ever be another day like this in my life. It was like a dream."
(Married in May, booked by July — the era is thriving.)
