Lisene to headline 2026 Coupang Play Series halftime show days after first music show win

Lisene will perform at halftime during the 2026 Coupang Play Series match between Manchester City and Atlético Madrid on August 9 at 8 PM. The booking arrived less than 24 hours after the five-member group's first music broadcast win, two years into their career.

On July 14, Lisene took first place on SBS Life's The Show with Pretty Girl, a special single reinterpreting Kara's hit of the same name. "I hope this trophy becomes hope for those running toward their dreams," the group said.

Pretty Girl climbed to the upper tier of streaming charts. Three older tracks—LOVE ATTACK, Deja Vu, and Runaway—all charted in reverse. LOVE ATTACK's reverse-charting run originally delivered the group's debut first-place finish on a music broadcast. The July 14 The Show win is the confirmed first-place milestone.

On the halftime booking, Lisene said: "It is truly an honor to participate in this meaningful stage where world-class players gather in one place."
