Netflix's 'Never Been in a Relationship But Want to Date' S2 tops Korea TV-OTT non-drama buzz chart 2 weeks in
GoodDataCorporation's July 13–19 rankings put the Studio Modak reality show at #1 overall and #1 in SNS buzz, up two spots from #3 the prior week.
Two weeks after its Netflix premiere, 모태솔로지만 연애는 하고싶어 Season 2 (produced by Studio Modak) topped GoodDataCorporation's TV-OTT non-drama topicality chart for July 13–19.
The show climbed from #3 in its first week to #1. SNS buzz rankings also went its way. During its opening week on Netflix, it hit #8 on the Global TOP 10 Non-English Shows list and cracked the TOP 10 in South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan.
July 21 brought episodes 7 and 8. The matchmaker panel—Seo In-guk (서인국), Kang Han-na (강한나), Lee Eun-ji (이은지), and Car, the Garden (카더가든)—watched the couples' dynamics shift dramatically. The four sommmakers (썸메이커스) were visibly thrown. "라인이 안 보인다," they said. The connections are nowhere to be seen.
Episodes 9 and 10 release globally on Netflix on July 28.
