Na Han-il and Yu Hye-young appeared on MBN's 'Teukjong Sesang' with their daughter Na Hye-jin, who spent over a decade pushing her parents back together.

Na Han-il and Yu Hye-young sat down with their daughter Na Hye-jin on MBN's Teukjong Sesang, which aired July 23, to discuss two divorces, financial collapse, and the third reconciliation their daughter orchestrated.
The couple first met when Na Han-il spotted Yu Hye-young at a hotel. He fell for her immediately. They grew closer while filming the 1989 drama Mupungjiidae and married within two to three months of meeting—sources differ on the exact timeline. Nine years in, Yu Hye-young filed for divorce, citing incompatibility. "Our personalities and wavelengths didn't match at all," she said. They reunited two years later, then split again.
Na Han-il owned the cycle. "Looking back, it was all my fault," he said on air. He also revealed he'd invested 50 million won, lost everything including his house, and faced severe financial hardship during that period.
Na Hye-jin—a former actress who now runs a café—engineered the third reunion. She approached each parent separately and made her pitch. "I suffered for over 10 years," she said. "Times alone with my mother were scary, and the attention was difficult." Sadness outweighed resentment, she explained. She could see both parents were lost without each other.
(Na Han-il's 40-year friend Jo Sang-gu, whom he met through Oein Gudan, also appeared and told him he needed to express himself more to his daughter.)
Teukjong Sesang airs Thursdays at 9:10 PM on MBN.
