NEXZ wraps 5-city 'Mmchk: Not Typical' showcase, heads to Rock in Rio and STRAYCITY in September

NEXZ has wrapped their five-city global showcase tour and confirmed a Latin American run for September, including Rock in Rio in Brazil.

The NEXZ GLOBAL SHOWCASE EVENT Mmchk: Not Typical tour — planned to mark the release of the group's second single album Mmchk — opened in Seoul on April 27 and moved through Taipei, Hong Kong, and Bangkok before closing in Singapore on July 12. Sets included debut track Ride the Vibe and new single Mmchk. In Bangkok and Singapore, the group added surprise encores of Japanese releases Hellmate and Hands up, Yo! after the crowd response pushed them back onstage.

The showcase run follows an already packed year: earlier in 2026 NEXZ sold out solo concerts titled ONE BEAT in Taipei and Hong Kong, and recently completed a Japan arena tour.

Members addressed their fandom NEX2Y after the final show: "Thanks to NEX2Y, we had a truly happy and enjoyable time. Through our music, we could feel with our whole bodies that everyone became one." They added, "Every moment we met you through the stage felt like a dream."

Next up is Latin America. NEXZ will make their debut at Rock in Rio, the Brazil-based festival, in September. They have also confirmed a slot on STRAYCITY, a new festival circuit hitting Bogotá, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City.
