Nine (아홉) hit iTunes #1 in 6 countries with third mini album 'Run to You' on debut anniversary month
Nine dropped their third mini album 'Run to You' on July 8, roughly eight months after 'The Passage'. It charted in 22 countries and the music video hit 24M views.
Nine (아홉) released their third mini album Run to You on July 8. Eight months had passed since The Passage. The numbers came fast.
The album hit number 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in six countries right out of the gate. It entered charts across 22 countries and regions total. The title track Run to You ranked 4th on Bugs' real-time chart and 57th on the Melon Hot 100 (measured on a 30-day basis from release). The music video crossed 24 million views and climbed from 17th to 7th on YouTube Korea's daily popular music video chart.
Five tracks make up the album: Run to You, Sugar High, Just Say Yes, 그냥 너라서 그래, and Our Story. Three members wrote Our Story. 차웅기 (Cha Woong-gi) has written on every Nine release since debut. 박한 (Park Han) returned after contributing to The Passage. 박주원 (Park Ju-won) tried songwriting for the first time on this album.
Nine — Steven, 서정우, 차웅기, 장슈아이보, 박한, 제이엘, 박주원, 즈언, 다이스케 — formed through the SBS audition program Universe League and debuted in July last year. Run to You arrives in the same month they mark their first debut anniversary.
