Shin Hye-sun is wrapping tvN's 'Secret Audit' and moving straight into SBS legal drama 'Dash', set for next year.

Shin Hye-sun has been cast as a truth-seeking prosecutor in SBS's new drama Dash, scheduled to air next year. She'll slide into the role once she finishes the currently airing tvN Saturday-Sunday drama Secret Audit (은밀한 감사), where she plays Ju In-a, head of the audit office at Haemu Group.
The 36-year-old debuted in 2012 on KBS 2TV's School 2013. Her breakout came in KBS 2TV weekend drama My Golden Life (황금빛 내 인생), where she played Seo Ji-an in a series that peaked at 45.1% viewership. tvN's Mr. Queen (철인왕후) followed, with Shin taking on Kim So-yong in a performance that pushed ratings past 17%. She played photographer Jo Sam-dal in JTBC's Welcome to Samdalri more recently.
On film, she drew around 1.23 million viewers as influencer Han So-ra in She Died (그녀가 죽었다). Her Netflix series Lady Dua (레이디 두아) expanded her reach globally, with Shin playing Sarah Kim.
The awards keep stacking up. Best Actress (long-form) and Best Couple at the 2017 KBS Acting Awards for My Golden Life. Best Actress honors at both the Asia Pacific Star Awards and SBS Acting Awards in 2018. Best Couple and Best Actress at the 2019 KBS Acting Awards for Dan, Only Love (단, 하나의 사랑). Star of the Year plus Actress of the Year at the 2024 Buil Film Awards.
Off-screen, she donated 100 million won in 2022 for children in crisis families affected by heavy rain and was appointed promotional ambassador for Good Neighbors in 2024. (The Tokyo photo posted on the 10th — Shin crouched at a crosswalk at night, camera in hand — is the kind of low-key dispatch that keeps a fanbase fed between projects.)
