Sodiac, N-SAIN, Nine clash in OST Match Point Season 2 finals for KBS drama singing rights

Three idol groups are battling it out in a fan vote for the right to sing the official OST of KBS 2TV's upcoming weekend drama 사랑이 온다 (Love Comes). OST Match Point Season 2's idol division finals opened July 14 at noon and run through July 24 at 3 PM. The top-finishing team gets the OST vocalist spot.

Sodiac, N-SAIN, and Nine all punched through a preliminary round that ran from June 29 to July 13. Sodiac took first with 22,721 votes (22.9%). N-SAIN finished second at 22,357 votes (22.6%). Nine placed third at 21,539 votes (21.7%). The gap between first and second was 364 votes. Fourth-place One Fact (원팩트) pulled 15,168 votes — 6,371 short of Nine — and missed the finals. Sodiac's path to the top was wild: the nine-member JACSO Entertainment group sat in fifth place on the morning of the deadline before a late surge of concentrated fan voting pushed them to first.

All three finalists are active right now. Sodiac released their third mini album Phantom Fire in June. N-SAIN — a seven-member group formed through audition program 청춘스타 — dropped single Funky Like Me this year and is currently on a Japan tour. Nine (F&F Entertainment) just hit their one-year debut anniversary, released their third EP Run To You, and launched their first international tour The First Spark.
