A 12-episode short-form series about North and South Korean students in a university startup club launches July 31 on YouTube.

The music video for Start Hana (스타트하나), a 12-episode short-form web drama produced by the South-North Hana Foundation, drops July 17 on the official YouTube channel 친절한 하나씨.
A teaser preview lands July 14. That same day, the Foundation holds a production presentation at Ilsan KINTEX Hall 2 as part of the 3rd North Korean Defectors' Day commemorative event. The presentation includes a highlight reel screening and a talk-show segment where cast and crew discuss the production background and behind-the-scenes stories.
The drama follows North and South Korean students inside a university startup club, also called 스타트하나, as they work through career worries, relationships, and personal growth. North Korean defector actor Cha Wi-sung (차위성) plays club president Oh Chang-yeop. Fellow defector actor Lee Il-cheon (이일천) plays a club member of the same name and performs the drama's inserted song himself.
Defector involvement extended beyond the cast. The production team wove lived experiences and dialect consultation from North Korean defector youth directly into the script at every stage of production. (That kind of on-the-ground input is rare for a drama of this scale.)
Episodes 1 through 12 roll out every Friday starting July 31 on 친절한 하나씨.
