Sua wraps UAU's 'PINK GENE' promotions with final broadcast farewell

DREAMCATCHER's Sua (Kim Bora, 31) has wrapped UAU's promotional cycle for Playlist #Your Youth. The unit's final broadcast came with a message to fans.

In a post following the last stage, Sua wrote: "PINK GENE is good, they say meow! UAU members, the dancers, the staff, everyone worked hard until the last broadcast!" She closed with a direct shoutout to the fandom: "Insomnia, you worked so hard cheering us on."

UAU is the DREAMCATCHER sub-unit of Jiu, Sua, and Yoohyeon. They released Playlist #Your Youth on July 1, roughly one year and one month after their debut mini album Playlist #You Are You in 2025. The six-track record leads with title track "GENE (진)," a house-based rhythmic cut with a dreamy atmosphere. "Tuesday," "Stand By Me," "Cause I Wanna Feel Your Face," "Echo," and "Comma 9999" follow.

Sua is the main dancer and sub-vocalist of DREAMCATCHER, the seven-member group (Jiu, Sua, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, Gahyeon) whose official fanclub is Insomnia. She debuted in 2014 with Minx on the single album Why Did You Come to My House, then relaunched as a DREAMCATCHER member in 2017 with single album Nightmare (惡夢). Solo credits include the 2022 drama Handsome Guys OST "Still with you" and "Gap (Feel Alive)" from the 2024 project album My Song, My Story, Pt.3.

Athletics fans will remember she anchored DREAMCATCHER's women's 4x400m relay to a first-place finish at the 2018 Lunar New Year Idol Star Athletics Championship, and reached the women's 60m final at the same year's Chuseok edition.
