Conductor Sujin Kim on breaking barriers at Broadway — and bringing 'Frozen' to Seoul
Conductor Sujin Kim leads Seoul's Frozen at Charlotte Theater, August 13, 2026–March 1, 2027.
Sujin Kim is taking the podium for the Korean production of Frozen, running at Charlotte Theater from August 13, 2026 to March 1, 2027.
Kim made headlines for her work on Broadway—a house filled with Korean-language audience sing-alongs, a rare sight in musical theater's most competitive arena. The Seoul run marks her return to a domestic stage in that same role.
Three actresses will share the role of Elsa: Jeong Seon-ah, Jeong Yu-ji, and Min Gyeong-ah.
Kim sat down via written exchange with Frozen songwriters Christine Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. On working alongside them, she said: "Seeing a genius by my side every day is amazing."

The production runs through March 1, 2027 at Charlotte Theater.
