SUPER JUNIOR's Sungmin announces Japan fanmeeting '思い' in Tokyo on August 23

SUPER JUNIOR's Sungmin (Lee Seong-min, 40) is heading to Tokyo for a fanmeeting. 思い takes place Sunday, August 23, 2026 at J-stage O. Doors open at 11:40 AM, show starts at noon. 3MEN will perform as guests.

Sungmin announced it himself: "There will be more meetings and happy memories starting August 23, Sunday! See you in Tokyo, Japan."

The fanmeeting arrives after months of solo work. He released the single YO.YO.YO. on August 22, 2024. His son Lee Do-yoon (prenatal nickname Popo) was born September 13, 2024. On the music side, his 2023 digital single Lovesick (사랑이 따끔) marked his formal entry into trot. He followed it with 무정 and 밤 열차. Before that came mini album Orgel in 2019 and digital single Goodnight, Summer in 2021.

His trot run included a 2022 appearance on TV Chosun's Mr. Trot 2 - The Beginning of a New Legend, where he performed 한 잔의 인생, 몰래한 사랑, and 무정, advancing to the second round. He took runner-up at MBC's Mask King twice — as '고무신' in the 160th competition and '록스타' in the 199th.

Other recent credits: DJ duties alongside Ryeowook on KBS Cool FM's Super Junior's Kiss the Radio. His YouTube channel LIUstudio (run under the name LIU) hit 100,000 subscribers and earned a silver button. His fandom, '성민 에너지' (Sungmin Energy), will want to mark the Tokyo date.

Sungmin served as lead vocalist and lead dancer during his SUPER JUNIOR tenure. Current members are Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, and Sungmin.
