IU, 33, and Lee Jong-suk, 37, have ended their four-year public relationship. A resurfaced April clip shows Yoo In-na urging IU to date someone more carefree.

IU and Lee Jong-suk have broken up after four years of dating. An April clip is now circulating online.
They first met in 2012 as co-hosts on SBS's Inkigayo, became a couple in 2022, and confirmed the relationship by year's end. At the 2022 MBC Acting Awards, where Lee Jong-suk won the Grand Prize, he told the audience: "I have liked her for a very long time."
Both cited increasingly packed schedules. They couldn't see each other as often, and the relationship ended naturally.
The clip resurfacing is from April, when IU appeared on Byeon Woo-seok and Yoo In-na's YouTube channel Yoo In Radio to promote the MBC drama 21st Century Great Lady. IU described what wears her out in a relationship: a partner with no strong preferences, especially when she's already planned everything. She said she'd do better with someone more like an alarm clock—reliable, prompt, "cute."
Yoo In-na cut in. "Don't make me laugh," she said. IU accommodates everyone even when exhausted, to the point of getting sick and ending up in the hospital. "Please, from now on, choose a carefree-style partner."
IU laughed. "That does seem like it would be better."
(The timing of that exchange is something.)
