BTS 'ARIRANG' climbs to No. 14 on Billboard 200 in its 20th consecutive week

BTS's fifth studio album ARIRANG climbed one spot to No. 14 on the Billboard 200 for the chart dated August 11 (local time). It's been on the chart for 20 consecutive weeks.

The album spent three straight weeks at No. 1. Over 13 weeks total, it has occupied the top 10 — longer than any Korean artist album has ever stayed there on the Billboard 200. This week broke down as: No. 7 on Top Album Sales, No. 25 on Top Streaming Albums, No. 11 on Vinyl Albums.

Title track SWIM hit No. 91 on the Hot 100. Twenty consecutive weeks on the chart. That ties Butter, the BTS record from 2021. SWIM debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 on April 4, 2026, and has remained in the top 10 of the Global (excl. U.S.) chart every single week since—No. 4 this week, No. 12 on the Global 200.

Six ARIRANG tracks landed simultaneously on the Global (excl. U.S.) chart: SWIM, NORMAL, Body to Body, 2.0, Hooligan, and Aliens. NORMAL dropped its music video and Korean-language audio on July 17. The track sits at No. 24 on Global (excl. U.S.), No. 49 on Global 200, and No. 40 on Pop Airplay.

Dynamite (2020) has charted on Global (excl. U.S.) for three consecutive weeks. The song was performed at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show in July.

On the UK Official Albums Top 100, ARIRANG entered at No. 43 for its 20th straight week. This surpasses the 19-week streak BTS previously set with their sixth mini-album, making it the group's longest UK chart run ever. The album also sits at No. 19 on the Official Scottish Albums chart and bounced back onto the Official Album Sales and Physical Album charts. Spotify's Weekly Top Albums Global has ARIRANG at No. 3 for the 20th week running; SWIM moved up to No. 6.

I NEED U, the title track from BTS's 2015 mini-album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1, crossed 500 million cumulative Spotify streams as of August 8. The song earned the group their first No. 1 on a Korean terrestrial music broadcast.
