DJ DOC announce November single album, 15 years after last release

DJ DOC are coming back. Lee Ha-neul confirmed the group will release a single album in November — their first release in 15 years.
"DOC's music style can only be done by DOC," Lee Ha-neul said. "No one else can do it. An album comes out in November." The announcement lands after years of internal turbulence. In December last year, Lee Ha-neul and Jung Jae-yong held a year-end concert without Kim Chang-yeol, the latest visible sign of friction between members. The three had appeared to reconcile in 2024 when they gathered as a complete group.
The personal backdrop runs deeper. Lee Ha-neul's younger brother Lee Hyun-bae, a member of group 45RPM, died in 2021.
On age — a recurring topic around veteran acts — Lee Ha-neul was direct: "Even if I'm over 50 or almost 60, I'll show you that I can make good music when you hear me rap." He has no time for the idea that older artists should step aside. (The title track of this era practically writes itself.)
No specific track listing or album title has been announced yet. The single album drops in November.
