Actor Im Hyung-jun says he sees his 14-year-old son every weekend after divorce and remarriage

Actor Im Hyung-jun posted family photos on SNS on August 11 with the caption "With my teenage son." A quiet update on a family situation that has unfolded publicly over more than a decade.
Im married a Korean-American woman 11 years his junior in 2012. They had a son together and divorced by mutual agreement in 2017. He remarried in 2022 to a non-celebrity woman 13 years his junior. The couple welcomed a daughter in 2023.
Before the remarriage, Im asked his son directly: "Is it okay if dad marries this aunt?" The now-14-year-old came around. "My son asks me to send him photos of his younger sister," Im said. "I'm so grateful that he opened his heart first."
On custody, Im sees his eldest child every weekend. A teenager asking for baby sister photos unprompted says something.
